I’m Catherine Happ, the founder of Alder and Atlas — a travel and destination consultancy rooted in experience, operational excellence, and a deep love of discovery. With over two decades in the travel industry, I’ve led strategy and operations for luxury tour operators, educational institutions, and cultural organizations. I bring a rare blend of in-office strategic expertise and extensive on-the-ground travel experience, having led everything from program design to in-destination delivery.

Alder & Atlas was created to help businesses bring complex, high-value group travel experiences to life — with clarity, creativity, and care. I specialize in aligning guest expectations with operational systems, helping teams deliver experiences that are both memorable and manageable.

From developing streamlined booking models to refining on-the-ground logistics, my work is grounded in firsthand knowledge, having traveled to over 60 countries and collaborated with stakeholders across the globe. Operating as both a strategic advisor and a behind-the-scenes partner, I offer scalable systems and guest-first delivery for curated travel programs.
